I am an artist/PhD student searching for a part-time job that would allow me to support myself as I wrap up my dissertation, while also getting my head out of the books for a few days a week. Nannying has helped me through both my BA and MA studies, which I completed in London. I spent 10 years working for the same family there, and throughout the years I have tutored kids, teens and students in English, Art, and Cultural Studies. I have also taught my own niece (now 4yo) English through conversation, storytelling and songs. My approach to childcare revolves around creativity and education. I am calm and easy-going, but also quite good at setting boundaries. Most of all, I enjoy having lots of whimsical fun and forming genuine connections based on mutual care and respect. I hope to find a family that values my experience and unique background. Ideally, I am looking for a mornings-only or a 2/3 day-a-week (20-25 h per week) position starting mid-Sept/Oct
