Warm, professional family looking for a full-time housekeeper with light childcare We are a friendly Australian family who have recently relocated to Bucharest, living in Complex Rezidential Ibiza (Voluntari, near the British School of Bucharest). We have three boys, aged 8, 6 and 3, and a Golden Retriever. We are looking for an organised, trustworthy person to help run our home Monday to Friday, full-time. The role, day to day: - General cleaning and upkeep of the house - Grocery shopping for the family - Cooking family dinners and preparing school lunches - Washing, ironing and changing bedding - Some afternoon school pickups and after school activities - Helping with the boys around the household tasks - light childcare, not a full nanny role - Walking the dog for 20-30 mins daily Important - driving: A driving licence and confidence driving in Bucharest is essential, as the role includes school pickups from the British School area. Please only apply if you are comfortable driving. Hours and flexibility: The base role is weekday full-time. Separately, we would value someone flexible who can occasionally help beyond that - the odd weekend, an evening babysit, or travelling with the family on a holiday or trip when it suits. This is not every weekend and is not required weekly - it is occasional and always paid as extra, by arrangement. If you are the kind of person who enjoys being a genuine part of a busy family's life, this role will suit you well. About us We are respectful, easy to get along with, and we want a long-term working relationship with the right person. English is preferred but not essential.
